The design ideas behind Mildren Homes, is to keep with their current brand identity and tone, while bringing a modern and clean feel to their website.
We kept with current brand colours, as we did not want to change the tone of the brand. Instead we experimented with the layout and negative space to create a modern design which was easy to navigate. We also added easy to access links on the website.
To us, this continued back up and support was just as important as the initial installation and it was this aspect of their bid, that swung the awarding of the contract in their favour.

We used large full-width images as headers, they gave a dramatic and impressive feel to the website while not over complicating the design. We played around with parallax animation on individual property pages, to add showmanship to each potential home.
We also created icon designs for each plot, to give all the pages an identity and an illustrative feel. It helped create texture and variety on the website, while adding detail to the pages.
